TITLE: Robitussin Cough Formula, For Children & Adults - 8oz

Clears nasal stuffiness. Loosens and relieves chest congestion. Alcohol-free. Recommended by more doctors and pharmacists than any other cough formula.

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 2 teaspoonfuls every 4 hours. Children 6 years to under 12 years: Take 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours. Children 2 years to under 6 years: Take 1/2 teaspoon every 4 hours. Children under 2: Consult your doctor. Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period.

Active Ingredients (Per (5 ml) Teaspoonful): Guaifenesin USP (100 mg) and Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride USP (30 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Citric Acid, FD&C Red No. 40, Flavors, Glucose, Glycerin, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Malitol, Propylene Glycol, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Benzoate, Water.

Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a physician. Likewise, if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland, do not take this product unless directed by a physician. Do not exceed recommended dosage. If nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough or other symptoms persist, do not improve within 7 days, tend to recur, or are accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache, consult a physician. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
