Johnson & Johnson Band-Aid’s large sterile gauze pads are an essential staple in every first aid kit. Hospital-grade and individually sterilized and wrapped, they help treat minor scrapes, cuts and burns. They are effective for cleaning wounds and may protect wounds from re-opening as well. Each thick gauze pad has 16 layers, blocking dirt and contaminants that could cause infection. They also feature a low-lint design, providing extra absorbency while guarding against irritation. This item includes 25 large, 4x4 pads.

Hospital grade. Sterile unless individual wrapper is opened or damaged. Ideal for minor cuts, scrapes, and burns because they're extra thick and absorbent and have a low-lint design to help prevent irritation. Each pad contains 16 layers of pillow-soft cushioning that provides extra comfort when cleaning dirt and contaminants from the injured area, and may help protect from re-injury. They offer QUICK-LOC technology with an anti-leak core that instantly absorbs and pulls fluids away from the wound.

Follow these step by step directions: Clean - stop bleeding by applying pressure with sterile gauze. Cleanse injured area gently and thoroughly with mild soap and water. Pat dry. Treat - treat wounds by applying first aid antibiotic or antiseptic wash. Protect - cover injured area completely with a gauze pad to help absorb fluids. Wrap rolled gauze to firmly secure gauze pads and help keep the wound clean from contaminants. For better protection, secure bandage with tape.

In case of deep or puncture wounds, or serious burns, consult a physician. For medical emergencies, seek professional help.
