Increases safety and convenience during bathing. Contoured, textured extra-wide seat and optional back rest with built-in hand-holds. Suction cup rubber feet on legs that adjust in 1 inch increments with push buttons to a height between 13.5 and 17.5 inches. Includes: anodized aluminum leg assembly (2), anodized aluminum backframe assembly (2), white plastic seat (1), white plastic back rest (1), assembly hardware packet (1), complete instructions. Tool required: Phillips screwdriver. 250 lb. weight capacity. Latex free. Limited warranty.

Note: Before starting assembly, read through all assembly instructions on reverse side and identify all components and hardware. A Phillips screwdriver and pliers or a wrench are required to secure the assembly. Determine if you will be using the chair with the optional back rest and follow the appropriate instructions. Assembly: A. Using the diagram, place the seat face down on a flat work surface with the rear arrow indicator pointing toward you. Note: The seat and back rest are identical and interchangeable. B. Position the leg assembly with the number 2 stamped on it with the number with the number 2 on the seat bottom. Screw holes will align and push-buttons for footpiece assemblies will face inward. C. Position the leg assembly with the number 1 stamped on it with the number with the number 1 on the seat bottom. This leg assembly crosses on top of the first leg. Screw holes will align and push-buttons for footpiece assemblies will face inward. D. Using the 1-1/2 pan head screw, curved washer and star lock washer attach the two leg assemblies to the seat through the center hole. E. Install footpiece assemblies onto each leg by depressing push-button and sliding footpiece down each leg tube until the button is engaged through desired hole. F. If you are using the stool without the optional back rest: Complete attaching the leg assemblies to the seat bottom using four 1-1/4 inch pan head screws and four curved washers. Install and tighten one screw and a curved washer into the four remaining screw receptacles. Skip to Step H. If you are installing the back rest: Position the back rest support tubes on top of the leg assemblies so that the two single holes in each tube align with the holes in the leg assemblies. Attach the backrest tubes through the leg assemblies to the seat using four 2-1/4 inch pan head screws and four curved washers. Securely tighten each screw. G. There are two possible positions for the back rest. With the assembled chair on the floor, determine the desired height of the back rest. Holding the back rest with rear arrow facing down attach it to the upright tubes using four 1-1/4 inch pan head screws and four curved washers. Securely tighten each screw. Note: The two alternate holes in each support remain available if future adjustments become necessary. H. Place the assembled seat into the bathtub or shower area where it will be used. Adjust the height as needed by depressing the push-buttons on each leg and extending or retracting the leg until the push-button is engaged in the leg hole that allows the desired height to be attained. Securing your bath and shower safety chair/stool: Make sure that all four legs are adjusted to the same height and that all push-buttons are fully engaged in the adjustment holes. Place the chair/stool in the middle of the bathtub or shower. Verify that the chair/stool is stable and does not rock when placed. Using: Carefully enter the bathtub or shower using any wall-mounted grab bars for safety. Use the hand-holds molded into the seat for added stability while sitting or standing. Cleaning: All components can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive powders or scouring pads. Allow the chair/stool to dry thoroughly between uses. Avoid the buildup of soap scum which could become slippery when wet.

BEFORE USE VERIFY THAT ALL SCREWS ARE SECURE AND FULLY TIGHTENED. MAKE SURE THAT ALL PUSH-BUTTONS ARE FULLY ENGAGED IN SELECTED HOLE AND THAT ALL SELECTED HOLES ARE AT THE SAME HEIGHT. TEST FOR STABILITY BEFORE USE.
