Senokot Tablets help relieve occasional constipation whenever it occurs, aiding laxation through gentle stimulation of the large bowel.
Recommended Dosage (or as directed by a doctor): Take preferably at bedtime. Adults and children 12 years of age and over start taking 2 tablets once a day not to exceed 4 tablets twice a day. 6 to under 12 years of age start taking 1 tablet once a day not to exceed 2 tablets twice a day. 2 to under 6 years of age start taking 1/2 tablet once a day not to exceed 1 tablet twice a day. Under 2 years consult a doctor. Dosage can be adjusted to meet one's individual requirements. If comfortable bowel movement is not achieved by the second day, the recommended dose should be increased by one tablet, not exceeding the maximum dosage, or decreased until the most effective dose is established.
Active Ingredients: Sennosides (8.6 mg per tablet). Inactive Ingredients: Corn Starch, Glycerin, Lactose, Magnesium Stearate, Talc, and Other Ingredients.
Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel movements that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor.
