Do not exceed recommended dosage. Adults and children over 12 years old: 2 teaspoonfuls every 6 - 8 hours, not to exceed 8 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years old: 1/2 teaspoonful every 4 hours or 1 teaspoonful every 6 - 8 hours not to exceed 4 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours. Children under 6 years old: There is no recommended dosage except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Store at controlled room temperature between 15 - 30 degrees C (59 - 86 degrees F).
Active Ingredient (Each (10 ml) Two Teaspoonfuls Contains: Dextromethorphan HBr USP (20 mg). Inactive Ingredients: [All USP] Purified Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Clear Cherry-Strawberry Flavor, Citric Acid, Potassium Benzoate, Hydroxymethylcellulose, Menthol, Methyl-Paraben, Propyl-Paraben.
Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or where cough is accompanied by excessive secretions except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Do not take this product if you have asthma, glaucoma, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Do not give this product to children under 6 years old except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. As with any drug if you are pregnant or nursing a baby seek the advice of a doctor before using this product. If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur or is accompanied by high fever, rash, or persistent headache, consult a doctor. Avoid alcoholic beverages, driving a motor vehicle or operating heavy machinery while taking this product. May cause drowsiness. The enclosed bottle has been sealed; if the seal around the cap is broken or missing, do not use. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
