Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to the common cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies: nasal congestion, runny nose, cough, sneezing.
Children 6-11 Years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml). If needed, repeat dose every 6-8 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. An AccuDose measuring cup is enclosed for your convenience. Children Under 6 Years: Consult a doctor. Store at room temperature 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F).
Active Ingredients (in each 5 ml): Chlorpheniramine Maleate (1 mg), Dextromethorphan HBr (7.5 mg), Pseudoephedrine HCI (15 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Citric Acid, Corn Syrup, FD&C No. 40, Flavors, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Sorbitol.
Do not give to a child who is taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your child's prescription drug contains an MAOI ask a doctor or pharmacist before giving this product. Ask a doctor before use if the child has a breathing problem or a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with asthma or chronic bronchitis; a cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus); heart disease; glaucoma; diabetes; thyroid disease; high blood pressure. When using this product do not exceed recommended dosage; excitability may occur; drowsiness may occur; sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness. Stop use and ask a doctor if nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur; cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition; symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or are accompanied by fever. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not use if carton is opened, or if imprinted plastic bottle wrap or imprinted foil inner seal is broken or missing.
