Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold. Non-drowsy. Alcohol free.

PURPOSE: Cough Suppressant

Find right dose on chart below. Use only enclosed dosing cup designed for use with this product. Do not use any other dosing device. If needed, repeat dose every 6-8 hours. Do not use more than 4 times in 24 hours. Under 2 years: Do not use. 2 to 5 years: One (1) teaspoonful. 6 to 11 years: Two (2) teaspoonfuls. Attention: Use only enclosed dosing cup specifically designed for use with this product. Do not use any other dosing device. Store between 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F). Store in outer carton until contents are used.

Each 5 mL (5 mL = One Teaspoon): Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg

Anhydrous Citric Acid; Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium; D&C Red # 33; FD&C Blue #1; Flavor; Glycerin; Purified Water; Saccharin Sodium; Sodium Benzoate; Sodium Chloride; Sodium Citrate; Sorbitol Solution; Water; Each Teaspoon Contains: Sodium 15 mg

Do not use: in a child under 2 years of age - talk to a doctor about the child's symptoms; if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have: persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema; cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus); a sodium-restricted diet. Stop use and ask a doctor if: cough gets worse or lasts more than 7 days; cough tends to come back or occurs with fever, rash or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away (1-800-222-1222).
