Proven clinically effective in the treatment of athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis). For effective relief of itching, scaling, burning and discomfort that can accompany these conditions.
For best results follow directions and continue treatment for the length of time indicated. Clean the affected area and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of Micatin Antifungal Cream over affected area twice daily (morning and night) or as directed by a doctor. Supervise children in the use of this product. For athlete's foot, pay special attention to the spaces between toes; wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes, and change shoes and socks at least once daily. For athlete's foot and ringworm, use daily for 4 weeks; for jock itch, use daily for 2 weeks. If condition persist, consult a doctor. This product is not effective on the scalp or nails. Unscrew the cap and place the puncture-top onto the tube. Push down firmly until the seal is open. To close, screw the top back onto the tube.
Active: Miconazole Nitrate 2%. Inactive: Benzoic Acid, BHA, Mineral Oil, PEGlicol 5 Oleate, PEGoxol 7 Stearate, Purified Water.
Do not use on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a doctor. For external use only. If irritation occurs, or of there is no improvement within 4 weeks (for athlete's foot or ringworm) or within 2 weeks (for jock itch), discontinue use and consult a doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
