For relief of occasional constipation (irregularity). Konsyl-Orange generally produces bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours. Konsyl Orange is also useful for the treatment of disorders other than constipation. Konsyl Orange is non habit-forming. Easy Does It:
1. Put one rounded tablespoonful into an empty glass. Add 8 oz. of cool water or your favorite beverage. 2. Stir briskly for 3-5 seconds. 3. Drink promptly. If mixture thickens, add more liquid and stir. Follow with additional liquid to aid product action. Dosage: Adults and children 12 years of age and over: One tablespoonful 1 to 3 times daily, before or after meals, or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1/2 adult dose, or as directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years of age: Consult a doctor.
Each Rounded Tablespoonful Contains:. Active Ingredients: Psyllium Hydrophilic Mucilloid. Inactive Ingredients: Sucrose, Citric Acid, FD&C Yellow No. 3, D&C Yellow No. 5, Flavoring.
Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult your doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Caution: Inhaled or ingested psyllium powder may cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to psyllium. Store below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). Protect contents from humidity.
