Advanced formula Kaopectate is a pleasant tasting, concentrated liquid that provides fast, effective relief of diarrhea and cramps. Contains no alcohol or salicylates. Fresh minty taste peppermint flavor.

For best results, take full recommended dose at first sign of diarrhea and after each subsequent bowel movement. Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration which may accompany diarrhea. Dosage (maximum 6 times in 24 hours): Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 2 tablespoons. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 tablespoon. Children 3 to under 6 years of age: 1/2 tablespoon. Shake well before each use. Store at room temperature (not to exceed 86 F or 30 C). Do not refrigerate.
Each Tablespoon Contains: Attapulgite (750 mg). Also Contains: FD&C Red No. 40, Flavors, Glucono-Delta-Lactone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Methylparaben, Sorbic Acid, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide, Xanthan Gum, and Purified Water.
Do not use for more than two days unless directed by a doctor. Do not use if diarrhea is accompanied by fever or if blood or mucus is present in stool. Do not use in infants or children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor. If you are taking a prescription medicine, consult your doctor before taking this product. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. Do not use if plastic bottle wrap is broken or missing.
