Gaviscon is specially formulated for the temporary relief of heartburn due to acid reflux. Gaviscon is not indicated for the treatment of peptic ulcers
Chew 2 to 4 tablets four times a day or as directed by a physician. Tablets should be taken after meals and at bedtime or as needed. For best results follow by a half of glass of water or other liquid. Do not swallow whole.
Active Ingredients: Aluminum hydroxide dried gel 80 mg Magnesium trilicate 20 mg Inactive Ingredients: alginic acid, calcium stearate, flavor, sodium bicarbonate, starch, and sucrose
Do not take more than 16 tablets in a 24-hour period or 16 tablets daily for more than 2 weeks, except under the advice and supervision of a physician.
