Used to quickly arouse or alert someone who feels light-headed or faint. The ammonia is contained in a capsule surrounded by cotton to help prevent accidental breakage.
Step 1: Hold capsules between thumb and forefinger of each hand. Step 2: Snap capsule to break seal. Step 3: Gently but quickly pass capsule back and forth about 1 inch from the victim's nostrils 1-2 times. Step 4: Dispose of capsule properly.
