Fleet Sof-lax is an effective aid to prevent the formation of hard stools that may lead to constipation. The stole softener facilitates absorption of water by the stool making it softer and easier to pass. Fleet Sof-Lax relieves straining, minimizing pain
Adults and children 12 years and over: One or two gelcaps daily. Children 6 to under 12 years: One gelcap daily. Store at room temperature (59 - 86 degrees F).
Active Ingredient: Docusate Sodium USP (100 mg). Sodium Content 5 mg Per Gelcap.
Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. In case of accidental overdose or ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present, unless directed by a physician. Do not take this product if you are presently taking mineral oil unless directed by physician. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a physician before using this product. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowl movement after use may indicate a serious condition; discontinue use and consult a physician.
