Calcium Polycarbophil. Stimulant free. Gentle enough to use every day. Natural action of fiber. 244 mg of Calcium per dose. Easy-to-take caplets.
FiberCon acts like natural fiber so continued use for one to three days is normally required to provide full benefit. FiberCon dosage may vary according to diet, exercise, previous laxative use or severity of constipation. Take this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other liquid may cause choking. Do not take more than the maximum daily dose. Adults and children over 12 take 2 caplets once a day up to 4 times a day. Children (6 to 12 years): 1 caplet once a day up to 4 times a day. Children under 6 years: Consult a physician. Store at controlled room temperature 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F). Protect contents from moisture.
Active Ingredient (each caplet contains): Calcium Polycarbophil (625 mg) Equivalent to Polycarbophil (500 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, Caramel, Crospovidone, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Mineral Oil, Povidone, Silica Gel and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Rectal bleeding may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult your doctor. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. Tamper Evident Feature: Bottle sealed with printed foil under cap. Do not use if foil is torn.
