Helps open Rx caps. This tool is designed to remove the outer cap from double cap container liquid or dry, or snap cap position vial lids (when turned to opening position). It is not recommended from removing locking lug tube vial lids and may damage them beyond reseal and reuse.

Lay container down on its side on a flat working surface with the cap pointing away from the body. Put tool hook over the left cap edge with the handle pointing toward the right. Place the right thumb under the tool against the cap on the right side, with the remaining fingers over the tool handle. Grip the container firmly with the left hand to hold it, and remove the cap with a smooth steady pressure with the right hand. (Holding thumb against cap will help prevent tool from slipping if the plastic breaks or distorts white being removed.) For position vials, turn the lid to opening position and follow same procedure above. Care must be taken to prevent spillage or loss of medicine from the vial as it is opened.

KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Children may remove caps with this tool and thus endanger themselves. This tool is intended ONLY for the use of adults, those who are limited physically or disabled and are in homes without children. Plastic caps may be ejected into the air or may break or shatter while being removed, throwing pieces in the air. PREVENT INJURIES: Never remove caps toward the eyes or body or toward other persons. Discard or dispose of any sharp plastic remnants of any plastic caps-do not leave them around.
