Adults and children 12 years of age and older: One (1) gelcap by mouth every 6 to 8 hours or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed 4 doses (120mg) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Children under 12 years of age - do not use.

Do not take this product if you have persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a doctor. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persist for more than one (1) week, tends to recur, or if it is accompanied by fever, rash, or by persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not use if your are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains a MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product Do not use in children under 12 years of age. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.Do not use if carton is opened, or if blister unit is broken.
