DexAlone Cough Suppressant, Maximum Strength, 30 mg, Liquid Gelcaps - 10ea

Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Older: One gelcap by mouth every 6 to 8 hours or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed 4 doses (120 mg) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Children Under 12 Years of Age: Do not use. Store at room temperature (59-86 degrees F).

Active Ingredient (per Gelcap): Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (30 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Polyethylene Glycol, Gelatin, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Kollidon, Propylene Glycol, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Blue No. 1.

Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a doctor. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Do not use in children under 12 years of age. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not use if carton is opened or if a blister unit is broken.
