Allow lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth. Adults and children 6 years of age or older: One lozenge every 2 hours as needed not to exceed 12 lozenges in 24 hours or as directed by a physician. Children 2 to 6 years of age: One lozenge every 4 hours not to exceed 6 lozenges in 24 hours or as directed by a physician. In children take care to prevent choking on lozenge. Store below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) and protect from moisture.

Active Ingredients (each Lozenge Contains): Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (5 mg) and Benzocaine (2 mg). Also Contains: Corn Syrup, Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, Propylene Glycol and Sucrose.

A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists more than 1 week, tends to recur or if sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days or if cough and/or sore throat is accompanied or followed by a fever, persistent headache, rash, swelling, nausea or vomiting, consult a physician. Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus), unless directed by a physician. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not use this product if you have history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other caine anesthetics. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this the product. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Use only if wrapper is unopened.
