For relief of constipation (irregularity). This product helps restore and maintain regularity. Also useful in the treatment of constipation associated with other bowel disorders when recommended by a physician.
1. Fill glass with at least 8 oz of any cold non-carbonated beverage. 2. Fill enclosed scoop with product. Level scoop with knife or flat object. 3. Put product in beverage. Stir briskly and drink promptly. Adult Dose: Dissolve one leveled scoop (one heaping tablespoon - 11.5 g) in 8 oz of any cold non-carbonated beverage of your choice, up to 3 times daily at the first sign of constipation or irregularity. Use enclosed clear scoop. Generally produces effect in 12-72 hours. Children (6-12 Years): Half the adult dose in 8 oz of any cold non-carbonated beverage of your choice once daily. Take this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 oz (a full glass) of fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. See warnings. Store below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). Protect contents from humidity; keep tightly closed.
Active Ingredient (each 11.5 g Adult Dose Contains): Methylcellulose (2 g) (a Non-Allergenic Fiber). Inactive Ingredients: Maltodextrin, Flavors (Natural and Artificial), Potassium Citrate, Riboflavin, Sucrose, Malic Acid, and Other Ingredients. Each Adult Dose Contains Approximately 3 mg of Sodium, and Contributes 37 Calories from Maltodextrin and/or Sucrose.
Tamper Evident Package: Printed inner seal beneath cap. Do not use if missing or broken. Consult a physician before using any laxative if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits which persists for two weeks. Unless directed by a physician, do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present. Discontinue use and consult a physician if rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement occurs after use of any laxative product. Unless recommended by a physician, do not exceed recommended maximum daily dose. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer than one week unless directed by a physician. If sensitive to any of the ingredients, do not use. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.
