Lightweight and easy fit, adjustable aluminum nosepiece, soft nose cushion, easy to use straps and reinforced ribs maintain shape. N-95 Masks or Particulate Respirators are also known as "air-purifying respirators" because they protect you by filtering out the air you breathe. Individuals can wear an N-95 mask for protection against disease that is spread through the air. CareMates N-95 mask meets the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) requirements for fit and protection against airborne pathogens.

1. Wash your hands with soap and water or use sanitizing wipes or gel. 2. Remove one mask from the package. 3. Cup the mask in your hand like you are holding a bowl, with the nosepiece away from you, allowing the headbands to hang freely below your hand. 4. Pull the headband closest to you over your head and let it rest below your ears. 5. Position the mask under your chin with the nosepiece up. Pull the top strap over your head resting it high at the top back of your head. 6. Place your fingertips at the top of the metal nosepiece. Squeeze the nosepiece together to mold over the shape of your nose by pushing inward at the center and then moving your fingertips down both sides of the nosepiece. Fitting the mask properly will insure that you are breathing though the mask and not through any gaps around the mask. To help determined if your mask is fitting properly, place both hands completely over the respirator and exhale. Be careful not to disturb the position of the respirator. If air leaks around the nose, readjust the nosepiece as described in step 6. If air leaks at the respirator edges, re-position the straps at the back of your head. To be most effective, the N-95 respirator mask must be worn at all times while you are exposed to harmful dust and particles. If the respirator becomes difficult to breathe through or is damaged or wet, immediately go to a non-contaminated area and replace the mask with a new one. Removal: Pull the top strap of the mask over the top of your head. Then pull the lower strap over your head. Wash your hands after handling the mask.

This respirator helps keep non-harmful dusts and certain particles out of your nose, mouth and lungs. Do not use for: any toxic or harmful substance such as lead and asbestos. Misuse may adversely affect your health. This respirator mask does not supply oxygen. It will not work for gases, vapors, odors, or oil particles. Do not use in spaces where a high concentration of a toxic substance can occur. Used masks should be disposed of immediately. Never share a mask with someone else. If your mask should become wet from saliva or other respiratory fluids, please change immediately and use a new clean mask. Close fit of the mask is very important for protection from breathing in virus particles. Please follow the fit instructions. A proper fit means maximizing the mask to its fullest potential. Particles can enter though any open areas between the mask and your face. Make sure the mask fits snugly for a proper seal. Hair from beards or mustaches or anything that keeps the mask from directly touching your skin can prevent a proper seal. Masks may help reduce exposure to airborne biological contaminants, but they don't eliminate the risk of exposure to infection, illness or death. Reducing the risk of airborne virus particles does not mean that the risk of exposure, infections and illness has been eliminated. Masks will not prevent you from catching an airborne virus in other ways such as touching your mouth, nose and eyes with contaminated hands or objects. Your best protection is keeping your hands clean. Do not remove the mask when you are in an infected area. Removing the mask for any length of time significantly increases your risk of exposure. If a new mask is physically damaged in any way before wearing, do not use. Dispose of damaged mask and replace with new undamaged mask. The N-95 mask provides protection from solid and liquid particulates that do not contain oil. To be most effective, the N-95 respirator mask must be worn at all times while you are exposed to harmful dust and particles. If the respirator becomes difficult to breathe through or is damaged or wet, immediately go to a non-contaminated area and replace the mask with a new one.
