Betasept Antiseptic Surgical Scrub is a tried and true medical-grade cleanser. It’s an antiseptic surgical scrub that is formulated to de-germ skin. As a strong antimicrobial solution, Betasept wipes out infection-causing microorganisms and is very effective as a preoperative and postoperative cleanser.

Surgical Scrub: Wet hands and forearms with water. Scrub for 3 minutes with about 5 mL of BETASEPT Surgical Scrub and a wet brush, paying particular attention to the nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces. A separate nail cleaner may be used. Rinse thoroughly. Wash for an additional 3 minutes with 5 mL of BETASEPT Surgical Scrub and rinse under running water. Dry thoroughly. Healthcare Personnel Handwash: Wet hands with water. Dispense about 5 mL of BETASEPT Surgical Scrub into cupped hands and wash in a vigorous manner for 15 seconds. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Patient Preoperative skin preperation: Apply BETASEPT Surgical Scrub liberally to surgical site and swab for at least 2 minutes. Dry with a sterile towel. Repeat procedure for an additional 2 minutes and again dry with a sterile towel. Skin wound and general skin cleansin: Apply the minimum amount of BETASEPT Surgical Scrub necessary to cover the skin or wound area and wash gently. Rinse again thoroughly

For external us only. Do not use if you are allergic to ingredients, in contact with meniges or in the genital area. Keep out of eyes, nose, mouth etc. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly wit water. Wounds involving more than suerficial layers of the skin should not be treated routinely.General skin cleansing of large areas of the body should not be done unless underlying condition makes it necessary. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help immediately. Stop and ask doctor if reaction occurs.
