Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not take for pain for more than 10 days or for fever for more than 3 days. Adults and Children 12 Years and Over: Take 1 or 2 gelcaps with water every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 8 gelcaps in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Children Under 12 Years: Consult a doctor. Save carton for full directions and warnings. Store at room temperature. Avoid high humidity and excessive heat 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
Active Ingredient (in each Gelcap): Aspirin (500 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Butylparaben, D&C Yellow No. 10 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red No. 40, Gelatin, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Methylparaben, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Propylene Glycol, Propylparaben, Shellac, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sorbitan Trioleate, Starch, Titanium Dioxide, Triacetin.
Reye's Syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye's Syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take aspirin or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Aspirin may cause stomach bleeding. Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin. Ask a doctor before use if you have bleeding problems; asthma; ulcers; stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach, or stomach pain) that persist or recur. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout, arthritis. Stop use and ask a doctor if pain or fever persists or gets worse; redness or swelling is present; new or unexpected symptoms occur; ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. It is especially important not to use aspirin during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.
