Wash hands before and after dressing the wound. Hold the burn or scald under cold running water for at least 10 minutes. Dry gently with any clean, non-shedding material to allow secure application of the dressing. Remove the dressing from the package. Peel off the flaps running down the middle of the dressing, exposing the wet hydrogel. Be careful not to touch the exposed area. Position the exposed side of the hydrogel on the burn. Gently pat the surrounding adhesive film in place. Using the white paper tab running down the edge of the dressing, gently pull back the plastic liner and discard. Replace dressing daily or whenever it dries out. Let the skin around the burn wound air dry between dressing applications. Remove dressing if pain or irritation persists at the wound site. Dressing should be stored in any cool, dry place. It may be refrigerated to provide a greater immediate cooling effect. Do not freeze. Remove by gently pulling away from the skin. See package insert for full directions. Not for use on infected or third degree burns. For severe burns or if complications occur, consult a physician.
