I have been using Protein 29 gel for decades. It conditions my hair and gives it a simple tone. I always bought it at local stores, but they either gave up carrying it in favor of the liquid or it was priced too high. I found this supplier a couple of years ago, and have been very pleased with them. And the product is top quality. I found out from them that you can tell if the seal of the tube has been compromised, caused by someone checking it at the store or buying and returning it. What you do is flick your fingernail on on the side of the tube. If it vibrates, the seal has not been broken. I thought that they were crazy, tried it, showed it to a clerk at a store, who also learned something new. And now I check every tube in the shipment, and they "hum" in my hand.

I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR 25 YEARS. HOWEVER, FOR OVER 10 YEARS YOU CAN NO LONGER GET IT IN ANY STORE. ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO I ORDERED FROM ANOTHER SITE AND THE PRODUCT CAME OUT OF THE TUBE AS A LIQUID RATHER THAN A GEL. THIS TIME EVERYTHING WENT EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD, IN JUST A FEW DAYS AND AT A FAR BETTER PRICE THAN AMAZON!
Pros:
IT KEEPS WHAT EVER HAIR I HAVE LEFT IN THE RIGHT PLACE, LOOKING NATURAL AND LATER IN THE DAY WITH A LIGHT BRUSHING IT LOOKS LIKE NEW.Cons:
THERE ONCE WAS A 4.5 OZ SIZE (THESE TUBES ARE ONLY 3 OZ) BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO CARRY THAT LARGER SIZE.I would recommend this item to a friend.
I have used Protien 29 for 30 plus years, but cannot find it locally, so was very pleased to find it in your stock

This is the only product I have found to tame my curly hair. It doesn't make my hair sticky or greasy, just goes on wet hair after shampoo and toweling.

Have used this product for decades and nothing else.
Pros:
Non-greasy, rinses out with water, a little goes a long way, no heavy scent.Cons:
