To install glide tips: 1. Remove the rubber tips from both of the rear legs. 2. Place one glide tip on each of the walker's rear legs. Set the walker on the floor and place weight firmly down on the walker handles. To install walker wheels/leg extensions: Determine if wheels or leg extensions will be used on front legs. 1. Depress push button on the walker frame and install the wheel or leg attachment onto the front leg of the walker. 2. Repeat step 1 for remaining front leg. 3. Adjust the wheel attachment into one of the adjustment holes. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 to install rear leg extensions. Adjusting your walker: When using adjustable walkers ensure that all legs are adjusted to an equal height and that all push buttons are properly engaged. 1.Adjust the walker so that when the arm is extended handle is at wrist height. 2. Depress the push button and slide leg up or down. 3. Engage the push button into the hole that provides correct height. 4. Repeat for each leg making sure walker is level. Proper use: Use only as directed by a health care provider. Keep wrists straight when using a walker. User should step up to the walker, not into it, reducing the possibility of balance loss. Do not 'rock' the walker by pushing one side forward and then the other side wthout lifting walker. Consult your health care professional to select the right walker and accessories for you and specific use instructions based on your abilities and daily activities. Cleaning: Clean the grips with a mild soap, detergent or household cleaner. Do not use an organic solvent (such as acetone, MEK, lacquer thinner, lighter fluid, dry cleaning fluid, gasoline or turpentine) that may dissolve the plastic and cause the grip to loosen. Note: Walker wheels are to be used only on the front legs of the walker.
