Ideal for use as primary dressing for light to moderate draining wounds. Can be used for debriding wounds. Better absorbency than ordinary gauze. Thicker cushiony sponge for maximum comfort and protection. Fast wicking action draws fluid away from wound. Lint-free performance for cleaner wound sites. Contains: 3 pouches (2 sponges per pouch) 6 in x 6.75 in.
Wash hands with soap and water. Ensure affected area is clean. Place Kendall Kerlix super sponge dressing over wound. If necessary cover the dressing with a second layer or secure the product in place with bandage roll or tape.
Polyhexamethylene Biguanide (0.2%)
Change dressing as needed, or as directed by a medical professional. Consult a physician in case of severe or deep puncture wounds, serious burns, redness, excessive swelling, tenderness, increased warmth, pus or watery discharge or any other signs of infection. Not intended as treatment for infection. If signs of infection are present consult a physician. Kendall Kerlix AMD dressings can be used in conjunction with the prescribed therapy.
