Proper Height: Adjust so that handgrip are at the level of the user's hip joint (break of the wrist). The elbows should be bent 30 degrees and wrists straight as user grasps handgrips. Proper Usage: User should keep wrists straight when using walker. User should step up to the walker, but not into it, so as not to lose balance.

Be sure that spring buttons are snapped securely into adjusting holes on legs and also the top crossbar (folding styles). Be sure that all four legs are adjusted to the same height. Be sure that all tips are securely attached and not slipping. When replacing tips, make certain that the replacements are the proper size, and also that there is a metal reinforcement at the bottom of each tip.
