Unique antacid barrier relieves heartburn caused by acid reflux.

Gaviscon is specifically formulated for the temporary relief of heartburn (acid indigestion)due to acid reflux. Gaviscon is not indicated for treatment of peptic ulcers.

Chew 2 to 4 tablets four times a day or as directed by a physician. Tablets should be taken after meals and at bedtime or as needed. For best results follow by a half glass of water or other liquid. Do not swallow whole.

Active Ingredients: Aluminum Hydroxide Gel (80 mg), Magnesium Trisilicate (20 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Alginic Acid, Calcium Stearate, Flavor, Sodium Bicarbonate, Starch (May Contain Corn Starch), and Sucrose.

Do not take more than 16 tablets in a 24-hour period or 16 tablets daily for more than 2 weeks, except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Do not use this product except under the advice and supervision of a physician if you are on a sodium-restricted diet. Store at controlled room temperature in a dry place. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
