Surgical rib belts help stabilize rib and sternum fractures by limiting expansion through compression. They provide comfort and encourage more controlled breathing to help reduce pain. Rib belts also provide support and compression to the muscles and soft tissues of the rib cage weakened by strain, trauma, overuse, inactivity, or surgery. This product is made of high quality six inch wide elastic. Hook and loop closures adjust for the most comfortable and easy fit. All elastic construction. Easy to apply and inconspicuous. Universal fit for 24-48 inch chest size.
Wearing Instructions: Apply in standing position. Place belt around rib area. Pull side with plastic hook fastener until snug. Fasten by overlapping the hook end on the loop patch. Can be worn comfortably under clothing. To determine your size: Measure around chest at base of sternum. Care Instructions: Fasten closure and hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Wrap in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Air dry away from heat. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.
