Easy directions for preparation & use. Your baby's health depends on carefully following these directions. Ask your baby's doctor about the need to boil water for formula and bottle preparation. Pour desired amount of warm water into bottle. Add powder, cap bottle and shake vigorously. Use the following chart for correct amounts of water and powder. To make 2 oz bottle use 2 fl oz of water and 1 packed level scoop of powder (8.8g). To make 4 oz bottle use 4 fl oz. of water and 2 packed level scoops of powder (7.6g). To make 6 oz bottle use 6 fl oz of water and 3 packed level scoops of powder (26.4g). To make 8 oz bottle use 8 oz of water and 4 packed level scoops of powder, (35.2 g). To make 1 quart use 29 fl oz of water and 1 unpacked level measuring cup ( 8 oz) (128g). Feed immediately or cover and refrigerate prepared formula within 2 hours. Use within 48 hours . Throw away prepared formula left in feeding bottle or cup within one hour after feeding. Storage: Store unopened cans at room temperature. After opening can, keep tightly covered, store in dry area and use contents within one month. Do not freeze powder or prepared formula. Pregestimil does not look or taste like milk or soy formulas. It may separate in the refrigerator. Shake well before feeding.
