For use as a lubricant to prevent further irritation or relieve dryness of the eye.
Pull down the lower lid of the affected eye and apply a small amount (one-fourth inch) of ointment to the inside of the eyelid. Store away from heat. Protect from freezing.
Active Ingredients: White Petrolatum (56.8%), Mineral Oil (42.5%). Inactive Ingredients: Chlorobutanol (Chloral deriv.) (0.5%), Lanolin Alcohols.
To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
